Parking fine, summons...now threst of arrest and assests seizure....HELP!!!!

Hello all,

I'm hoping to get a little advice here that might save me 200€ and or an arrest. Last year some time I got a parking fine in Dun Laoire, I ignored the letter they sent for 60€....in their letter they said failure to pay would result in a summons.

I since moved house and only last month received my post from my previous landlord...one of the letters was from the courts asking for 185€ to be paid by the 10th of May or else my assests could be seized and or I will be arrested.

Do I have any recourse?

Is there any course of action here I could take?

Many thanks,

Josey

p.s. see court letter attached :)

Any suggestions out there guys? I need to do something before the 10th of May as after that date they say in the letter they'll come arrest me or seize my assets...!!!!!

Many thanks,

Josey

Can u post the summons minus  your details so we can see it?  It would be more clear to make a determination on it somehow.

Hi Anrai,

there's an attachment with my original post.

Thanks,

Hi again. What did you do with the original summons, you must not have rts it to begin with? But you can still rts this one anyway. I don't see any seizure of goods mentioned...you should be ok with rts.

Anrai,

I can't remember what I did with the original summons, most probably sent it back RTS or I tore it up.

Thanks,

Josey

This is a disstress warrent as far as I no so it is not for you.Its for your property to the value of the fine probly with court fees too.But if a house is inviable then they cant enter your property but im not sure on this law so if anyone knows more feel free to inlighten us.

Invoke Article 41.1.1 of the original text draft Constitution if they appear at your Door so.
